Air Canada baggage rules

Conditions to know

• Regional flights operated by smaller aircraft can have tighter overhead space; pack to the smaller end of the limit on those routes.
• What is included depends on your fare and route. Check the fare conditions at booking rather than assuming a carry-on is included.
• Measure the whole bag including wheels, handles and any external pockets.
• Most airlines measure the whole bag including wheels, handles and pockets, so use packed dimensions.

Check before you fly

Use the allowance shown in your booking as the final word, especially for basic or promotional fares. Recheck the packed bag, including wheels, handles and full pockets.
